Our Story

Our mushroom farm is nestled in the foothills of Mt. Hood near Estacada, Oregon. Owner and grower John is a long time mushroom lover. Inspired by the wild mushrooms he foraged while wandering the woods, he decided to try his hand at cultivating some popular culinary varieties. Empire of Dirt strives to produce culinary mushrooms of exceptional quality for customers that really care about their ingredients.
